I’m Beth Ann, the matriarch of what I call “the Smith Family Seven”—my family. My husband and I have five kiddos who were all born in just under six years, and on a good day, I feel like I have my life around 30% together.

Twenty years ago, my husband and I met on my first day of college in South Mississippi where we grew up less than an hour from each other. Graduate school for him (plus my recently moved parents) brought us to East Tennessee, and we fell in love with the mountains.

I’m incredibly sarcastic, partially for humor’s sake and partially as a defense mechanism, and I love to tell stories that elicit laughter. I love laughing at the bizarre and hectic life I live if for no reason other than the chuckles keep me from crying!
